This little rocking horse was Ben's when he was little. My grandpa refinished it and added a tail when Paul was a baby. Paul never really rode it. Charlie is a different kind of kid than Paul. I got in quite a lot of knitting during our trip this week. We got a little green one when Paul was about 10 or 11 months old (The best time to start is between sitting up and crawling (assuming your baby progresses in that order). It took forever for me to get to a store with buttons. I knit this quite a while ago. It is a Pebble vest in Donegal Tweed. Paul picked the yarn out, but he doesn't really like things I knit for him, so I made it for Charlie.
